New or Old Woods
You can add elegance, design and a natural aspect to your house. A wooden staircase is the solution for harmonising your interiors by connecting, for example, a wooden floor with a mezzanine, an interior balcony or an attic. It can give continuity to the parquet of the different floors in the house. A wooden staircase is nature, gives the pleasure of walking barefoot without fear of slipping, thanks to the processing techniques and the 0-gloss finishing treatment, which gives an inherently non-slip rough effect.
Our interior furnishing staircases will stay with you for a lifetime. You may choose among so many options of extremely durable wood such as oak, walnut, spruce, chestnut, beechwood and larch.
We make self-supporting staircases, entirely of wood: structure, steps, risers and treads.
As an alternative, we propose solid or laminated wood panelling for stone, metal or masonry structure.
We work both for private houses and for bigger projects such as decorative stairways for mansions, hotels, restaurants and castles. We provide our designers, but we are happy to cooperate with designers and architects chosen by the customer.
Our customised productions can meet with all demands. For instance, the setting-up for drawers or housings between two steps, or the installation of marker lights or spotlights, combining design and functionality. The steps can be made in oak, iroko, beechwood, with open or closed riser.
Either with spiral staircases (with central core) or with the helical ones, we can find the right solution within the smallest possible room, tailored to your spaces.
We design straight or curved ramp stairs, U or L shaped with landings. Design elements or combinations of different materials can be added to the landings.
With the same care given to stairs, we make also parapets, railings, handrails and columns. All these elements can be entirely made of wood or of other material combinations such as glass or wrought iron.
Oak wood is the most resistant and durable, with aesthetic valuable features. Depending on the working process, superficial treatment or painting, we can obtain many different effects and colour tones. Other woods we commonly use are walnut, larch and spruce.
