Reclaimed oak wood becomes the protagonist of the wellness area of a villa in the countryside.

If we talk about wellness, wood comes to mind, and in this project curated by architect Zanchetta, wood is the absolute protagonist and the leitmotif of the entire area dedicated to relaxation and wellness.
The antique reclaimed oak wood, hand-planned by our master craftsmen, together with the mosaic, creates the perfect setting for the regeneration of body and mind.

The wood is laid to “opus incertum “on floors, boiseries and stairs, a stylistic choice that enhances the particular rough surface, which recalls the laying of the stone.

Antique wood, an added value.
The uniqueness of each recovered wooden board
allows us to create products of singular beauty
and rich in history.

The material is the recovery oak wood "Lava": the 4 mm folders undergo a particular treatment in our furnaces and become lava color in all their thickness. They are assembled to a PEFC certified cross-fibre fir bistrate and supplied in boards with a total thickness of 15 mm or 20 mm with widths between 120 mm and 300 mm and lengths between 1000 mm and 2800 mm. The glues used are in class E1, the surface finishes are natural wax or Olio di Luna ( a natural oil that gives a particular color to the boards). The product is Made in Italy with CE marking also suitable for underfloor heating.
In this realization the boards were planned by hand by skilled craftsmen; The product provides LEED credits .

Poolside caulking was performed, it is a manual waterproofing technique used in the boats' decks. The grill covers for the water drain have also been made with the same technique.

The spaces of the project are masterfully enhanced by the skilful use of wood, wood paneling, floors, furniture, stairs and poolside , from the kitchen to the relaxation area to the convivial space, everything speaks of excellence and well-being. Once again, wood praises the architectural project to deliver it to the future in all its beauty, beyond fashion.
